"Spent 4 nights. Clean well stocked kitchen, we cooked all our food there for 4 people. Very cute set up and the Gnome hunt was a nice touch. Hot tub is really nice, it was clean and functioned really well. Rooms were nice and clean, beds were very comfortable. Outside the cabin was clean and well kept. Driveway is steep but well maintained and our 2025 Pacifica had no issues fully loaded. well thought out place with a Nome theme, lots of games, blue tooth stereo, with record player and records. Great shower long lasting hot water, even the outside shower for the hot tub has hot water. Washer and dryer work well, in house coffee grinder was a cool thing, we forgot ours. Good times good host with great communication, very friendly, 5 golden stars all the way! If you want to get away, unwind and sit in a hot tub on a hilltop in the woods in the cutest place ever, the Nolan Gnome Home is where its at!"

"I didn't like the bed because you could not sleep 2 people up there. The parking sucked has to carry everything up the hill and the wrap around porch should have a roof so when it rains you can still enjoy sitting outside and in the hot tub and the cleaner was really rude we did not know it was central time when we showed up so we were on time on our time it was our anniversary and could not even contact the host if we needed roo"

"We had a wonderful Mothers Day weekend! Our host was very gracious and welcoming, and the property was lovely. We had a little trouble getting in, and she immediately called to make sure we could get settled quickly, which was truly appreciated with a tired toddler in tow haha. The deck overlooking the lake is very cool! We were able to have Wendy’s delivered in the morning, but mostly plan to drive for food, as it’s somewhat remote. The kitchen in the house is very nice and equipped for cooking for the family, and there is a grill on the deck too. Hope to stay here again one day!"

"Lovely cottage! We made a pit stop on our way home from traveling to see Mammoth Cave National Park. Everything was super clean and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the spa like experience in the bathroom. The lighting throughout has so much character. This place is well loved and it shows! Just minutes from the park. Host provided very clear information regarding booking and everything in the place (light switches, door locks, etc..) is marked clearly to avoid any confusion. We brought our dogs too. :). Highly recommend!"

"We had a wonderful stay! Everything was spotless and lovely. We love sitting out on the deck and listening to the birds and looking at the lake. The bed were super comfy. We will definitely be back!"

"Whipsaw was quiet and back in the woods, which is just what we wanted. We would have loved to enjoy the beautiful porches more but the cool temperatures did not allow. We appreciated the very comfortable beds and crisp sheets and slept so good after long days of caving and exploring the area. The drive to cave tours was longer than we expected, but not terrible and a beautiful drive back through the national park or along the parkway. The home was moderately equipped -- would have appreciated a Keurig for convenience since only one of us was a coffee drinker. While the house was very clean, a quick swifter through hanging light fixtures and along tall ceilings to capture cobwebs and dust would be even better. All in all, we loved this home and location and would highly recommend staying here."
