"Wonderful staff, excellent breakfast buffet, nice big rooms, super comfortable. The only bad review i would give is one evwning we had dinner in the hotel and had to wait an hour to be served because they had only one server and cook. I think additional staff should be hired for busy times. Otherwise an excellent stay and we will be back. "

"The staff was very helpful when our TV wasn't working and when we couldn't figure out our AC. They even helped with our toilet and cleaned and replaced our towels while doing so. And our light under the microwave needed to be replaced too. I thought you guys provided things like silverware, plates, cups etc... but I was wrong. I wish we'd still had a lamp or some kind of light at or near the dinner table as it's too dark for me. The only other thing is the 50 dollar deposit when checking in. I almost didn't have it. Thank goodness you took cash. I like this place though and hope to be back. "
"My daughter and I stayed for three nights for her basketball tournament. It was more spacious and quieter than the busy hotels and convenient to everything in Newport News and a quick 10-min ride to Hampton. Very clean, fun decor, and the kitchen had what we needed for a few simple meals. Shower, washer and dryer all worked well. Plus easy check in and out and great communication with the host.We ended up sharing a bed as the couch and living room setup are not comfy for sleeping and get very bright early in the morning. The staff and coffee at Corkscrews & Brews were great. They open late on Sat and were closed on Sunday though! "
