The staff was great, the restaurant was a welcome benefit to a weary traveler, and the room was clean and comfortable. Expedia should note there is a $15 daily parking fee to use the hotel garage.

The staff was extremely friendly and immediately jumped into action to help resolve a booking problem (much thanks to Frances!). We got to witness the staff go above and beyond to make a newlywed couple's stay a memorable one. I also really appreciated the complimentary refresher juice offered in the lobby. Our room was beautiful with a gorgeous water view. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower's water pressure was great. Every inch of the hotel was immaculate and so well-appointed. The hotel is very walkable to local attractions like the Hampton History and Air & Space museums, carousel, and Hampton University. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this hotel to others. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Everything about this property was above and beyond. The room was amazing one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in and I love the decor. It was a great experience. I definitely will be back the next time. I’m in Hampton.

The barn door in room 606 needed repair. The shower grate was off the floor and the shower door was off the track. Housekeeping had our door blocked off when we first arrived at 4:30pm saying the room was clean but that they weren't quite finished. Otherwise, it was a nice comfortable stay for the most part. Front desk staff were cordial but not welcoming (one staffer was welcoming but ours was not, very staid). The free beverage dispenser was a nice touch and the lobby and restaurant areas were nice. Was inconvenient to have the parking garage not connected to the hotel as it was windy, cold and rainy most of our stay. Would recommend but go with eyes open.

The bar was nice. The food was excellent! The staff was great. The location was excellent. Where we need help is the maintenance of the property. The lobby needed more upkeep - the rugs and sofa’s were dirty. The doorways weren’t wiped well. The gym hadn’t been cleaned in forever AND there wasn’t anything that allowed me to clean up before or after my workout. I enjoyed my stay, however. The staff was very friendly, attentive and accommodating. This property has five star potential!

The staff were helpful and friendly and it was very nice to be on the water but the hotel is in need of a deep clean - floors and walls were dingy, The oddest thing about it was that the bathroom doors in the room were barn doors which meant there was no seal to the door and no privacy. A real design flaw.

Ugly hotel, smells like smoke, and weed even inside of the rooms. Weird people, I booked it online and thought with the price it will be worth because all the Hampton hotels I have been staying at are nice and clean. The floor outside of the room is dirty. Like I instantly regretted my choice. It doesn’t look like a hotel, is like a motel vibe. Very dirty. The whole stay I felt weird. Yes, NEVER Again. The hotel is DIRTY, very DIRTY. It doesn’t give hotel vibes. I felt so bad because I came with my family we booked 3 rooms for 2 nights. We all didn’t like. Reception was terrible too. Is some old guy there not welcoming. It doesn’t give hotel vibes. Honestly I couldn’t wait to leave. Dirty

The staff, location and amenities were great! We stayed 3nights with room temperature ranging from 78 to 80 in August. They immediately sent a tech to fix air upon my complaint. However, we thought once the batteries were changed the air would work. I realized it didn't fix issue and for the next 2 days I just enjoyed amenities in the hotel and area outside of my warm room.
