"The property was ok. I can’t rate 5 stars because the phone in the room didn’t work, the toilet would run all the time and a couple of the “ clean “ towels had hair in them. I wasn’t there long so I didn’t complain but I probably wouldn’t stay there again"

"When going to a show at the Newberry Opera house this is the place to be. You are right across the street from the opera house and can walk to everything you need. The staff was helpful and coffee is always in the lobby."

"Breakfast offered scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy and make your own waffles. There were also hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, toast your own breads/english muffins. Nice coffee machine available all day where you could make an espresso or a more American style coffee. Staff was excellent, polite, professional and attentive. Facility looks pretty new and was in a quiet location. Parking was easy. "

"The Pros: Clean property, clean & spacious room, convenient location, and abundant parking. The Cons: The beds squeak anytime you move. Walls are paper thin so you will hear everything. If you check in or out after office hours, you will have to use a kiosk with a remote reservation assistant. There is no on site staff after hours. There’s no breakfast available, but there are vending machines. "

"Parking was easy, secure. Kerri was easy to communicate with, quick responding. The property was spotless, well appointed, well decorated inside. The outside was a dream, fantastic yard area to relax & sit near the water. Kayaks were provided and a hot tub. We could enjoy morning from the spacious deck or on the dock near the water. We truly hated to leave, we could not have enjoyed it more. This was easily the nicest VRBO we have stayed in. Thanks Kerri!!"

"Love lake life! Jo Ann the host was responsive but not intrusive. The rental home is lovely yet very dated and was a tad taken by its front curb appeal. Hence the 4 star. The sleeping porch is not private but the lake view is fabulous! Upgrades are made to the 3 bathrooms that were very nice and handy! Appropriate linen and ample bath supplies too! We got a care package too! (Thanks) The space worked great for us and family was happy! What makes this location is murray lake and this back yards newly built gazebo and dock! Wow! We had a small party on gazebo area! So perfect! We brought our 24 foot dual axel boat trailer and had to drop at marina 2 miles away and boat over to our rental. Could not drop boat at rental slip shown in vrbo picture. Not an issue just fyi This property has steep pathways to dock prolly not well suited for the “elderly” and be careful with “kiddos under 4”. we had a few minor scrapes and injuries from the paths. All in all it was a fabulous weekend also celebrating a daughter graduating from univ of South Carolina (45 minutes) away! Ideal set up suitable for us thanks again"

"Parking was tight and ac struggled but worse was the plumbing and walking talking just normal sounds that you shouldn't be hearing from next door or next floor "

"The room was mostly clean and the hotel looked great. The area was nice and easy to access. Breakfast was sub-par. Everything looked and tasted like it had been re heated. All of the food was cold. The cheese looked like it had been sitting out for days."
