Perfect lake getaway on Lake Murray with private dock and boat ramp. 15 minutes from Lexington by car and a short 10 minute boat ride across the lake to Dreher Island State Park. 7 minutes from JC's Outdoors bait and tackle shop and Southern Oaks wedding venue. Lots of parking for boats and trailers. Sleeps 11 - 1 King, 2 Queens, 5 Twins (4 of the twins can be made into 2 Kings).1 step up into the house from parking area to access main living area and master bedroom. 2 steps up into kitchen and dining area. 2 steps up to access two of the bedrooms. 1 step down to access the sunroom.

Absolutely beautiful and very clean. Everything you need is there, restaurants are a close drive or by boat. We were very impressed by the home and lakefront area. We booked our stay for wedding vow renewal and it was perfect.

Awesome!!

This house was perfect for our stay while we fished the Big Bass Tour. It was great place to put our bass boat in and take it out, right there at the house.

Great place to stay for our Masters trip

Very gracious host who made our stay wonderful. What a great setting right on the lake! Beautiful sunsets from the dock. Quiet street, too. Would stay here again if we’re lucky enough to be down for the tournament again. It’s a quick 1-hour drive over to Augusta.

Great location and property!

We had a three night stay at Jo Ann’s property and it could not have been better! Perfect location and the house was clean and ready for us upon arrival. Highly recommend this rental if you are looking to visit Lake Murray!

Great home, great location, great communication!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The sunsets were absolutely gorgeous and the location was perfect. Chris and Jo Ann had great communication and were very helpful. We will certainly be back again and we highly recommend this beautiful lake house!

GREAT VACATION

Lake getaway

Our stay was enjoyable! Jo Ann was very responsive, easy to communicate with. Her home was comfortable and clean. Really enjoyed the dock and lake access with our boat, cruising the lake, and watching the sunsets.

Great view for Christmas

House was clean and came with all of the little things a lot of rentals don’t. We had hand soap in every bathroom as well as shampoo and conditioner. The view was absolutely gorgeous. We watched cranes and turtles and ducks all from the comfort of a couch. Plenty of parking spaces. Would absolutely recommend and stay there again. Nice job host.

Lovely lake stay

This house was perfect for our group of six. Four adults and two children. We enjoyed swimming off the dock, having kayak races and using the standup paddleboard. Thank you very much for a fun time.

Graduation Celebration

We rented the property to celebrate our daughter's USC graduation. JoAnn is the owner and did a great job communicating and giving us tips to optimize our stay and fun. The property was exactly as listed. Very clean, great location, and spacious enough for the two families to enjoy.We rented a pontoon boat for my daughter and her friends to celebrate at Lazy Waves that JoAnn had suggested. That was directly across from the house so it made pick up and drop off very easy.We look forward to renting this house again in fall if the opportunity presents itself for our visit to a Gamecock football game. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

Cozy And Serene

Our group women’s retreat enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and accommodations! Great beds, equipped kitchen and view of lake from dining nook. Gorgeous views, moon rise in the morning over the dock, as well as the sunset. Smart TVs were fabulous for streaming our music, and the open floorplan was spacious and relaxing. Loved the decor throughout, and we walked away with lasting memories!

Fabulous property!

This home was exactly as advertised. It was exceptionally clean and very well furnished. Beds were very comfortable and included premium linens. The views of the lake were breathtaking. Great four a couple or family retreat. We appreciated the personal touches by the host and are already planning a return trip. We would highly recommend this one!!

Nice and relaxing

We loved our stay so much we are going back next year and have already booked. The host is very responsive. The yard is lovely and well maintained. The house was cozy and comfortable for our group. The grill was our only issues it works ok but could definitely be replaced. The oven works great just is a bit small so plan accordingly. This was truly one of our best stays ever!

Wedding weekend

We loved staying at this property. Our daughter was getting married at Southern Oaks wedding Venue and this was a great location to stay at. The view was beautiful. The house had a lot of room. The 3 bathrooms were a great thing when everyone had to get ready! The owners answered any questions we had and were just a phone call away if we needed anything. We plan to stay there again in the future.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with our daughters.

The home had a beautiful view of the lake. Our daughters chose to sleep on the sunporch and go kayaking and paddleboarding in November. It was very nice to have use of the kayak and paddleboard. We had plenty of kitchen utensils for use and the home is very well kept and Joann is very responsive although we did not need anything on our visit. We would love to come back!

Amazing Home

Jo Ann is an incredible host. For 5 years now, my family has been renting a home for Christmas. We are scattered between 3 states. We all agreed this home was the best yet. It is very clean and we loved the set up. I slept on the sun porch and loved every minute. The home has everything you need plus more. I highly recommend this home.

Lovin' lake life

We were in town for a wedding at The Vines located about 10 minutes away from the house so it was perfect! The house we well equipped and comfortably slept our family members. I would agree with some of the other reviews that there should be some type of light blocking drapes in the sunroom if people sleep in there. Also, there could be a curtain in the living room as that window is directly above one of the sunroom beds. I would highly recommend staying here!

Thanksgiving with family

This lake front home was adequate for our family celebrating Thanksgiving with family in the area. Quaint would be a good word for the house. It is an older property with some updates. Having bedding and towels provided was a bonus. We did have to purchase blankets because it was chilly. We could have turned up the heat and not having purchased blankets. The kitchen was a little rough. Cabinets sticking when opening and closing. But all in all for the time spent at the house it was adequate for 6 adults.

Lovely lake place

Lovely lake place. We were disappointed that the kayak had been broken the day before, but your next-door neighbor jeff was a doll and let us use his equipment. Since our nine-year-old had a broken wrist and could not swim, having those boats was just wonderful. He figured out how to stay dry. Thank you lovely weather beautiful lake and House. I brought a bunch of games and such and brought them home and I think I accidentally brought one deck of cards home that may have belonged to you. Sorry and thank you!
