「BEWARE: A/C did not work upon check-in. We arrived at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, turned the AC on as the cabin interior was in the high 70’s & departed for a scheduled dinner party. We returned to cabin at 11:00, cabin at upper seventies, high humidity, & no wind. I called the after-hours number at 11:45 and clerk had me run thru then thermostat readings in detail for 30 minutes, trying to document that the system was on property, but not operating. 「The cabin was smaller than we expected but fine for a cabin. My husband is a big man. 6'4" and sort of hefty. It was a little difficult getting around in the small bathroom and through the bedroom. It was ,however, very relaxing and quiet. The hot tub was a big hit with my husband especially. He wants one now ! Also, the cabin was a little farther up the mountain than we anticipated. But we got the hang of the trips up and down. We had a good trip. Thank you to Cindy.」

「The house and property was nice, there was not much of a Mountain View mostly trees . The beds were full of dog hair not cleaned very well at all. We swept the floors and there was lots of dirt and hair. I contacted the host about the beds and she called me promptly and had some extra sheets in the drawers.There was only enough towels for one night and we stayed 3 so we had to reuse them the whole stay. 「We enjoyed the quaint cabin surrounded by trees for privacy. It was very clean and well maintained. Our only issue was the water smelled bad, I believe it is because of the iron from the well water. We used bottle water to brush our teeth. That may be common for the area, we were just not expecting that. Also, it says 6 miles to town but it is curvy roads and took us about 15 minutes; not a big deal but wanted to make that clear. I would stay again, just be prepared for the water issue.」
