Since we'll be re-booking this property in 2024, we thought we'd share a few tips and pointers that may benefit future guest. Maintenance/housekeeping might do routine checks periodically, several things need to be checked, lamps work (some had switches that were wonky), gas fireplace outside the master suite was broken, the connector missing a part, the kitchen had only one dish towel and no dish rags. Two coffee pots in the kitchen, one-missing the pot, the second one was missing the filter basket. Kitchen cupboards could be more organized, like stuff with like stuff. The pool table couldn't be used as the cue sticks were all missing the tips, darts were missing as well.
We must say however, the contact with the property management company was very professional and prompt, they even provided a bit of a cash refund for our inconvenience. Once the maintenance ticket was opened, we received a visit from a very friendly staff member - who made everything perfect. (with the exception of the gas firepit). Also, we were all puzzled as to why the outside firepit was built with all that beautiful stamped concrete but the area was not leveled first ??? Quite a challenge getting comfortable while you're sitting at an angle, on a lean. We managed just fine after we got used to it, and enjoyed our fires very much.

We rent a house / beach house (MI) / cabin (TN) every year in the first week of August, and we all said THIS was one of the BEST we've had thus far. See you in 2024.
