「The house was everything we expected and some. The property was awesome and my kids loved the wildlife, a large family of wild turkeys came by. We booked this house for its location near Santa’s Village. It did not disappoint, approx 7 minutes away and at the end of the road there is a cute corner store with great pizza and grinders. I mostly would recommend this property because I left a gold necklace and it was quickly returned. I would 10/10 recommend this property! 」

「Wonderful place. Easy access to the water for my mom. My kids loved fishing off the dock. The beautiful chickens. It was so amazing. I could just go on about how amazing this place was.」

「Was a perfect little retreat for the night. The hot tub on the lake was amazing we couldn’t have asked for a better night. Huge full moon and clear skies. Only downfall was we just stayed one night! But the cottage is very cozy. They have some board games downstairs and the tv has Hulu Netflix setup in it so don’t have to log into your own! Has a full kitchen to cook whatever. The local grocery store Ledyard Village market is very close fully stocked and has amazing hot to go food. 」

「Loved this stay- unforgettable experience of having a little caboose on a hill, overlooking the railyard to ourselves. Will absolutely be looking to come back. The interior is nicely appointed, so much original character, thoughtfully preserved. Must love trains- the railyard is active around the clock- which was a plus for me to be so close to this exciting industrious activity, but it does screech sometimes if you're sensitive to that, so there's earplugs provided.
