"We loved the customer service at the Shangri-La. Our room was understandably not ready when we arrived at 9am but they suggested we freshen up in the gym change room. It was lovely to take a shower and change into a fresh set of clothes after a long flight. Our room became available before noon. The bathroom was quite spacious and the lighting in the room was soft and not harsh. Everyone we spoke to was accomodating and pleasant. Good location close to Circular Quay, the Rocks, and public transportation."

"Stayed at Ace Hotel Sydney and absolutely loved it! The location in Surry Hills was perfect for exploring the city. The design is stylish and comfy with retro-chic touches that make you feel at home. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out. My room was clean, quiet (despite the lively lobby), and had all the comfortable bits we needed. For anyone visiting Sydney and looking for somewhere that’s fun yet relaxing, this is it — highly recommend!"

"Both my friend and I were very happy with our stay. Staff were all so kind, helpful and professional. We were able to leave our bags until check in and then after check out until in the evening. The room was small and simple but was clean and had everything we needed, including good aircon, a comfortable bed, mini fridge and a shower with good pressure. the location was super convenient being so close to kings cross station, because of this there was some outside noise at night but it wasn’t enough to bother us, inside the hotel guests respected they needed to be quiet at night, so we still slept really well both nights. The front door to the hotel is locked before 9 am and after 3 pm so we felt safe here. Our only complaints were the only hand soap was inside the shower and that there was no fan in the bathroom. But overall staying here was a lovely experience and we’ll definitely stay again if we’re back in the area."
