「Waterland is a small resort of around 5 individual villas on the banks of a river. We stayed in Elephant villa which has a small, private pool and decking area. We loved the indoor/ outdoor bathroom with fish! The area is quiet and great for just sitting and watching the wildlife. Food is eaten in a small restaurant and although choice is limited, the quality was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. Slight downsides... The resort is really tucked away ,so be sure your taxi driver knows...

「出来たばかりで設備は新しく部屋もきれい。大晦日のガラディナーに参加しました。8:00pm開始で子供には始まりが遅かった。ラグーン側の眺めの良い部屋だったが部屋の裏にステージがあり2:00amまでステージがあり快適に寝ることが出来なかった。まあ年越しなので仕方がないのは我慢。しかし年越しの花火の打ち上げが部屋の前に打ち上げ装置が設置されていたため念のため部屋の外に避難していましたが打ち上げ後は部屋に煙が充満し最悪でした。もうすこし宿泊客のことを考えてほしい。」

「Als letzte Übernachtungsunterkunft vor unserem Rückflug nach Deutschland haben wir zufällig dieses kleine, tolle Haus gefunden (nur zwei Zimmer). Perfekt gelegen: die Nähe zum Flughafen (knappe 15 Minuten Fahrt) aber herrlich im Grünen, am Rand von Reisfeldern. Es ist ein wunderschönes Haus mit vielen Plätzen zum Entspannen (im Garten, auf der Terrasse oder im Haus). Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen (mit leckerem Saft und erfrischendem Tuch) und haben noch eine sehr interessante Führung...

「深夜に到着。門は空いていたが誰もいない。呼べど叫べど誰も出てこないので仕方なくそこらのガードマンのおっちゃんに電話借りて緊急連絡先に電話して、やっとオーナー登場。この間1時間あまり。施設設備は価格の割にいいのだが、これではおっかなくて夜間のチェックインはできない。」

「I stayed here for two nights before heading back home. When I arrived from another hotel, they kindly let me check in early, which was really helpful. On my last day, I paid a small fee for a late checkout, so I was able to relax until my evening flight — I truly appreciated that. The staff were very friendly and kind, and the breakfast was amazing. On the day I arrived, I unfortunately had a few unpleasant experiences in Negombo, which left me feeling pretty down and made me start to dislike...

「午後にコロンボ空港に到着するフライトだったので、空港から近いNegomboのホテルを選ぶことにしました。部屋は広く、素敵なインテリアで統一されていました。朝食を部屋のテラスにセットしていただきました。美しい部屋、庭、建物で、スリランカ最初の宿泊の印象がとても良いものになりました。」

「Nous avons séjourné avec nos deux enfants a l hotel nature villa apres notre atterrissage. L accueil y est familiale et chaleureux. Une atmosphère paisible parfaite pour ce remettre du decallage horaire. Ici on aime les français et ca se ressent. Je recommande vivement ce petit parado ou le personnel et les propriétaires sont au petit soin. Un grand merci a eux!!」

「Nico ist ein sehr symphatischer Gastgeber und hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Hotel hat sehr geräumige Zimmer und abseits der harten Matratze kann man nicht über fehlenden Komfort klagen. Die Klimaanlage hilft bei heißen Nächten und kann auch für Europäer angenehm hochgeregelt werden. Das Frühstück ist super lecker (besonders die Fruchtplatte) und abends konnten wir ebenfalls äußerst lecker Essen (Chilli-Chicken). Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt Nico und bis zum nächsten Mal! 」
