"This cottage location is quiet and a short walk to a picturesque small beach and colorful boat and kayak dock.The grounds for the cottage are garden-like and so welcoming.The inside is a happy place with well placed paintings and beach decor. The kitchen was well stocked and even had bird seed for outside.I appreciated tissue boxes and toilet paper as every other place I stayed did not have either. I was sad to have to go!"

"This is an amazing "cottage" in a beautiful area of Mattapoisett! The beach is right nearby and very easy and quick to get to. We easily slept seven people, three adults and four teenagers. There was plenty of space for everyone to chill out, both indoors in the living room and outdoors on the porch. We had a memorable week at the beach!"

"We stayed for a full week with two teenagers. This is a terrific, comfortable, very clean home with great location. It was only minutes to good restaurants, beaches and numerous tourist destinations. Susan was super responsive, very pleasant and gave helpful suggestions. We couldn't have been more pleased with this lovely home and hope to return next year.Thanks for everything Susan!"

"Beautiful beach home with all the amenities one could need for a great vacation! Spectacular direct views of Buzzards bay and of a beautiful marsh to the side and back of the house. Comfortable dining and gathering spaces on the deck and inside. Can’t think of anything to improve upon-the owner has thought of everything. We hope to return!"
3 Bedroom Cottage just steps to Private Beach! Pet Friendly!

"The house is only a 5-minute walk to the beach in a private beach community on Buzzard's Bay. It's pet-friendly, which was important to us, and hosts were extremely responsive and helpful in all respects. This house is equipped with everything you need for a short or extended stay (all manners of beach chairs and toys, a grill with charcoal, laundry detergent, dishwasher soap, even toilet paper.) But ... we did have some issues. Foremost was the hot water, or lack thereof - sometimes it was tepid, sometimes it was hot. Hosts acknowledged this as an inherent problem with an aging heating system. The house itself is pretty old and rustic, an aging beach cottage, with a too-soft pillowtop mattress and barely adequate lighting. A giant holly tree right next to the front door sheds thorny leaves constantly, which stick to your shoes and get tracked into the house. Walking barefoot among them proved painful."
