"Only good is historic architecture at hotel. No restaurant, no bar, nothing in the hotel... if you want to sleep with fan and air conditioner that doesn't work, stay here...they gave us an option of another room second night, but air conditioner also didn't get cold... we have to take cold shower to sleep!!! never again!!! "
"This was my 4th trip to Santo Domingo and the service and staff is wonderful and planning another trip soon and I will be staying at the Casa Sanchez Hotel "

"The property is gorgeous. Service is outstanding: Staff is warm and friendly and will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I was here for a business trip (business hotels in the business sector of town are boring); The staff quickly noticed, made a meeting room available, and pointed to where I could get coffee, etc. The hotel is in the middle of the "old (colonial) part of town" which is undergoing an "upgrade," and becoming the "cool" part of town. (at night the property is very quiet - no street noise). It's a walkable, touristy area at night, full of restaurants and bars, but I also learned from my business relationships that a number of wealthy locals are buying properties close by and making homes, modernizing old colonial structures. "Everything was great, the bed was so comfortable and big, overall the room felt like home. The only thing that was really bothering was the smell at the bathtub. I think pipes need to be fixed. Thanks you so much
God bless. "
