"Berry Hill Resort is a gorgeous, top-notch historical site with all the amenities and comforts needed for a restful vacation, wedding or anniversary celebration, family reunion and any other occasion. The resort is pet-friendly and guest-focused. Breakfast is nicely done with delicious hot foods, muffins and pastries, fruit, oatmeal, juices and delicious coffee. The staff members are very pleasant, helpful and well-trained in the fine art of hospitality and service. The guest rooms are elegantly furnished in period decor, the bed comfortable and the room, bath and coffee areas are spacious. We stay at Berry Hill Resort several times a year and are always pleased with our visits."

The whole place was so nice and there was a peacefulness that we really appreciated for our first family gathering in several years. I have stayed here multiple times, I love that it's dog-friendly, staff is always so very welcoming. Breakfast is nothing to shout about... but there's coffee and juice and toast and a waffle machine. Eggs are powdered... Overall, a stellar deal for those staying in Altavista. "
