Note: A shy country mouse may sneak indoors so keep all food in fridge or hard containers. $50 cleaning and setup fee for hottub. BASE PRICE IS FOR (2) PERSONS. $40/person/night fee for more persons
The Space:
Lakeside Lodge is part of the Fork Inn Retreat and lies at the beginning of a pristine Big East Fork Creek within a gorgeous valley. 20 miles from downtown Nashville, 8 miles from historic Franklin, and light years away from the stress of city life. The Fork Inn Retreat is part of a 1400 acre Conservation easement and features 2 lake and miles of hiking trails. Big East Fork Farms across the road provides organic produce and sweet animals to meet and feed. Walk down our creeks and (in season) feast on blackberries. Note that harmless house mice may be present. We have a cat to loan if you desire.
Guest Access:
Guests have a private entrance to this master bedroom. You are welcome to use the shared family room with TV and kitchenette. A large full kitchen, dining area, and sitting room are shared when there are guest in the Lodge.
The Neighborhood:
We are miles from historic Leipers Fork (Distillery tours, Puckett's Live Music - don't miss Thursday night's open mic) and Franklin (old time Main Street, fancy restaurants, boutique shopping). Nashville honky tonks are 23 miles away, midtown is 19 miles away. The best thing about the Neighborhood is that there are not many neighbors! The Fork Inn is a rural paradise of 2000 acres in a protected watershed of Big East Fork Valley. You will be next to an 8-acre lake and beaver habijtat with abundant wildlife and many hiking trails. Bring your bicycles and creek shoes. Fish for small mouth bass and blue gill. Visit the organic farms of Big East Fork Farms across the road and visit the sweet farm animals. Gaze at the evening stars in our night sky. The Center for Sustainable Stewardship is adjacent and has kayaks, paddleboats, and canoes as well as various nature and art programs.
