Very, very small town. No bank machine or grocery store. Few restaurants and most every place, except Burg Eltz, only excepts cash. Nice place to chill and great home base for visting Burg Eltz.

"The room was beautiful and the staff could not have been nicer. It is a quiet little town with easy access to the path to Burg Eltz, but I would stay here again even if not hiking to the castle. Highly recommended."

"The staff and management is always helpful Had a problem with our itenarry and had to cut short our stay. Even though the booking was done via Expedia, they contacted the hotel and refund the remaining part of the stay."
