"Staff were outstanding in every way. Didn’t get the chaps name but he arranged a slightly later breakfast so we could eat with family who lived nearby. So so helpful and friendly. Great wee hotel."

"We loved the hotel and the grounds, we had a balcony and we were able to see squirrels, rabbits, all sorts of birds…even pheasant. The suite was so spacious and relaxing. The restaurant and bar were great and all the wait staff so friendly. We found the location very convenient for car day trips and walks to the village. We would definitely recommend this property."

"Wonderful pub and accommodation. Staff were exceptional and couldn’t do enough to help. They all had such genuine smiles and welcomes. Food was lovely and the pub had great character. Whilst our room was small with very limited storage it was sufficient for our needs and clean and welcoming. The bathroom was lovely. A superb stay and would totally recommend."

"Our visit to Leslie Castle was the highlight of our trip to Scotland. Beautifully restored inside and out with a fascinating history and an intriguing story of how this castle was brought back to life from ruins. John and Nicola are wonderful hosts and they make every effort to ensure a 5 star experience for their guests …. from gourmet meals to locally sourced amenities and special touches like honey from the castle beehives. A visit to Leslie Castle is an absolute must for anyone traveling to Scotland. Fantastic experience!!"

"My stay at the Waterside Cottage was lovely! The site is very quiet, peaceful, and easy to relax in. There is plenty of hiking, whisky tasting opportunities and restaurants and shops are about a twenty minute drive in multiple directions. I was able to cook a meal on my second night in and the cottage has everything you may need to cook and enjoy a full meal.While there, it felt as a home away from home.Very clean, tidy, and many spaces (indoors and outdoors) to relax."

"Check-in was awful.Room wasn’t ready till after five someone elses welcome letter was on our room instead of ours.I was told put luggage would be taken to our room as it wasn’t ready before we had to go out.Came back 10.30 to mo luggage in room it was in a cupboard at reception .Asked for a later check out as we didn’t get in our room till 10.30 never got that.Not a good experience at all"
