"This was our second time staying at the Almont Inn, the staff are incredibly friendly and were super accommodating as we had booked quite a small room in error. The breakfast buffet is a lovely start to the day. The hotel is close to a subway station and conbini. Overall, great place to stay, would highly recommend. "

"So conveniently located from Nippori station 6 minutes walk very easy to get to has shops around and boba drink shop across . Only issue was with all amenities they don’t provide coffee or English tea or spoons or anything like we did on other hotels stay . rooms are small but it has space to open your luggage . Breakfast is traditional Japanese/Chinese no cereal yes tea / coffee is there eggs and toast . "

"It is a short walk from the station and there are restaurants along the way and several convenience stores in the area (in addition to the stores at the station). It is very clean. The hotel staff made our stay very easy and pleasant. The laundry facility and drink vending machines were great. It was very convenient for my family. "

"Great hotel in the heart of Ikebukuro. It’s more quiet and loosely packed compared to Shibuya or Shinjuku if you’re into that. Stations for JR lines and other local trains are dotted all around the property. Service and staff are really helpful despite language barriers, although language barriers should be thin these days due to modern technology. If you manage to get a room up high you’ll have a nice view of the city. "
