「The views were amazing, and the house was remodelled to make the most of them, so you could curl up in a comfy chair and watch the rain roll in off the sea or mountains (it is in Wales, after all!) without leaving conservatory/living room/bedrooms. The new kitchen was great as well, fine for cooking and chatting with family at the same time.」

「Be very aware that this is on a campsite so can be busy. For me the biggest issue was that I had missed that there is further accommodation above the property so that it is an apartment rather than a cottage. We had people above for only 2 of our 7 night stay which I was very grateful for. The sound of walking is loud and constant which ruins the quiet. 「Lovely apartment in a great location right next to the shops and beach. Easy check in, thanks to Vic and Mary. Barmouth is a great place to stay with plenty of places to eat. Would recommend the Mermaid chip shop next door to the apartment and the Royal is a great pub to visit. The slate mines at Llanfair are well worth a visit as is Porthmadog by train. I would definately recommend this apartment」
