"The inn is lovely, perfect location, great staff, good food, free parking on the road, wonderfully comfy bed and great bathroom… but beware of room 7 with a sea view.. on the second floor up steep steps but the reason for the 3 star rating is that you will constantly hear the water pump every time anyone in the hotel uses a drop of water. ALL NIGHT LONG! Very hard to sleep or stay asleep when is constantly starting up close by the bed. Were exhausted the next day, so glad we only stayed one night. The water pressure on the second floor is fab…but the noise from the pump really is annoying. The hotel only has an emergency contact number and no overnight staff so by 11pm when you realise that the pump is going to be jolting you awake regularly there is no one that can help."

"A wonderful two days spent at this little cottage. A lovely 2 bedroom property in an excellent location. It was just around the corner from the Tide and Dovey Inns. The Coast cafe on the corner was lovely too. We took the train to Barmouth from Aberdovey - it was a lovely journey along the coast. Thank you to the host for leaving milk and biscuits for us. We would definitely return. "

"Nice hotel. Stayed in small dog friendly double room on second floor which had a view over the sea. Although we were on the main road. It was very quiet in the evening & overnight so we slept quite well. Unfortunately, we found that we couldn't close the blind as the mechanism seemed to be stuck. Therefore, the light shone through the sides of the window causing the room to be lighter than we would have liked. Luckily, I had a sleep mask with me but my husband woke early as the room was so bright. Although the room was compact we still had enough room to move around & had a good sized on suite. The room was very warm as it was a sunny day & the room seemed to get a lot of sunlight. Good in the winter but I imagine it could get very hot in the summer. Although we didn't have breakfast at the hotel we did enjoy a meal in the bar where they had a dog friendly area. We both enjoyed the burgers. It was nice that they offered gluten free burger buns. We had a good overnight stay & would stay again if we were travelling in that area."

"We had an amazing four days at this property.We booked it on a whim as the pictures looked really good and we’re so glad we did. The appartment is really nicely decorated and having access to the balcony is such a bonus, the views are so good! (also the car park pass is a really good touch)We had never been to Aberdyfi before and came without doing any research but we are so glad we did, the shops and pubs are great and having access to the beach within a few metres was also amazing.We were spoiled by the weather for the time we were there but even so our ten year old said it was the best Holiday he'd had. He particularily liked the crabbing (with free access to kit on the pier) and the jetty jumping!Thanks for welcoming us and we'll definetly be back...."
