Great Location, but Cleanliness Needs Serious ImprovementWe loved the location as it was perfect for visiting both of my siblings who live in Lafayette. Unfortunately, the property itself had several cleanliness and maintenance issues that made our stay challenging. There was a strong cat urine odor throughout, and many of the basics weren’t properly cleaned or prepared. The towels still had tags on them and clearly hadn’t been washed, and the washer was full of hair and smelled terrible, which made it impossible to do laundry, especially hard with three small children.The coffee maker hadn’t been cleaned, and the king bed didn’t have a mattress cover. These details made us question the overall upkeep of the home.That said, the location was truly amazing, and with some updates and attention to cleanliness, this could be a great place to stay. We would love to return in the future if those improvements were made.
