「Beautiful little resort just outside of the hustle and bustle of Monteverde. Owner met us to show us around the property and let us check in early. One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Beautiful property and room. Excellent food from the on site restaurant. Excellent staff. Spotless room. If we ever come back to Monteverde I wouldn’t look to stay anywhere else .10/10 all day long」

「Highly recommended location, I really enjoyed staying here at this family run B&B. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was really nice, my room was great, very quiet and comfy. The gardens are lovely and there is a great little deck to watch the sunset. Although the place is down and unpaved road I was only in a tiny 2wd car and this (and everywhere else in the area) easily accessible, just take it very slow. Would definitely stay here again 」

「Nepenthe is a gem. You need to grab this stay for as long as it stays a gem, the owners are getting older and are actively trying to sell. Make this trip, you will not regret it. Stay for the week, there is plenty to do around Arenal, do not spend hours driving that you could spend listening to the howler monkeys, watching the toucans every morning, or enjoying the oropendola living their day. 」

「The property manager, Lady, was so helpful. She helped arrange tours for us and gave us information about what to do. Finding the place was a little difficult, as Waze didnt map it out correctly (initially I used Mountain Faro Hotel as it was named in expedia) so i had to stop and google address and remap with a different name. I used Mountain Faro B&B and waze mapped icorrectly then. Also office was closed when we arrived at 7pm. I had to find contact info on expedia to reach owner. She...
