"The location of the house is great. It sits on top of a hill with a great view, and is located halfway between Florence and Pisa. The street up from the town is steep and partially narrow, but not hard to drive, as long as one shifts down. "This was a special event made even better by the beautiful house and Monica's great cooking and hosting. Stunning views and beautiful rooms. Monica welcomed us and made sure we had everything we needed, she couldn't have been nicer. We also arranged for her to cook a celebration meal one night which was exceptional, genuine local products, her own cheese and a real flavour of Tuscan cookery. I can't recommend this place and Monica enough. "

"Advertised as a stay in castle, given an apartment outside the castle at the car park! Last night of stay and the next morning No hot water! No cleaning for 7 days, no change of the sheets or towels. Tree cutting at 8am. Apartment smells like damp. Cleaners while cleaning other apartments talking loudly like they were arguing. The outside look it is amazing, beautiful scenery!"
