「The property is a modernized old farm house. I reiterate its an old farm house and it fits the description perfectly.This property is in the country. That being said, that was the appeal for us in choosing this property. Probably 25 mintues to Galena and 40 to Dubuque. The views are spectacular. Its quiet, actually I expected some early farming activity, but other than cattle feeding which was not loud or disruptive there wasn't any on our visit. 「Booked for a girls weekend and it was perfect! The cabin is large! Enough space for big families. We didn’t end up taking out the canoes but we did enjoy the fire pit and afternoon lounging overlooking the water. So peaceful and truly relaxing. There’s a grocery store less than 10 minutes away. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and utensils and some spices. Love this because they usually aren’t and we always stay in and cook at these types of cabin rentals. It was a pleasant surprise!...
