"We had a one night stay before a cruise and the hotel was in a great location, with tons of eateries and things to see just outside the door. The staff were incredibly helpful, the hotel was very clean and comfortable. Would recommend! And would stay there again!"

"Excellent location in the Gothic quarters but a street behind La Ramblas, so the nightlife noise was not an issue and couldn’t be heard from inside the room (reasonable size). Close to the Liceu metro station was very handy to access public transport. The room was nicely refurnished- clean and modern. You must first check in at larger sister hotel California, a few minutes walk away as Hamsa hotel does not have an on site front desk to retrieve front door access code for the premise. There is no vehicular access to both these hotels, however, taxis will drop you off along La Ramblas, and a short walk to both hotels. Staff were very responsive and attentive to needs communicating via WhatsApp- worked very well despite no on site front desk. Excellent experience overall- convenience to metro, great location in the Gothic quarters, room was well insulated from nightlife noises, clean and tasteful refurbishment, great responsive hotel staff. Highly recommend this hotel."

"The Sixties Ramblas was probably the cleanest place we've ever stayed at, and we travel quite a lot. The staff was very pleasant and extremely helpful. Breakfast was delicious and had a variety of fresh fruits, veggies, and pastries as well as eggs, meats, cheeses. Convenient location to the Ramblas shops and restaurants. We will stay there again."

Staff were all super helpful & accommodating to my requests when I asked face to face/called reception. Also felt safe at this location when we were walking around. "We were so pleased with this classy, boutique hotel (just 24 rooms). Great location across the street from the port and Maritime Museum. But such quiet, beautiful rooms. Due to our late train arrival from Madrid, we didn’t arrive at the hotel until 12:30am but we were warmly welcomed and personally shown to our room. Impressive! The room was exactly as shown on the website. Beautifully appointed, great bed and pillows, and a fabulous bathroom & shower! Breakfast was wonderful! And all the staff were terrific! The rooftop patio and small pool area was the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sun set! Rasa, the Indian restaurant next door to the hotel was fabulous, too! Overall, our stay at Hotel La Pau was 5 Stars!"
