It is an older Buddhist temple and feels wonderful to be in a place with such character and history. The meals (all are vegetarian in accordance with Buddhist tradition) are a delicious delight. This is from one who is not a vegetarian! The service is personal and sincerely caring. I would recommend visiting Daisen and staying there.

The service was great, the staff was very helpful, the food was delicious! The area around the hotel is excellent and beautiful, I recommend it if you are looking for a relaxing and beautiful experience!

Not so bad for all, only bothered us a little was the toilet is broken, washlet didn’t work.

Exceptionally nice and polite staff. Super clean room. They have a built in restaurant and they serve breakfast buffet (1000 yen for adult, and less for child) that has a verity of food and drinks and it’s very delicious and convenient. They do serve lunch and dinner if you want. It’s 10 min. walk from the station, so either you can take a bus or taxi to the hotel(680yen).
