"The property is in the middle of construction, which was never disclosed to us. It felt makeshift — not at all like a luxury resort. We were told we’d have complimentary breakfast, then told we wouldn’t. The outdoor breakfast spot was closed on our last morning with no notice. The signature Nobu restaurant was closed multiple times for private events. A residence tour was promised and never followed up on. Housekeeping never came for an entire day. The TV in our room didn’t work.
When we raised our concerns, we received a generic apology that didn’t address most of our issues, and we were later surprised by unexpected charges on our invoice.
Had we known about the construction and closures, we would not have chosen to spend our babymoon here. For a resort at this price point, the gap between what was promised and what was delivered was significant. We hope management takes this feedback seriously."
