Louis, futur Louis VI le gros, avait été associé au pouvoir par son père depuis 1100. Pour effacer la souillure de la présence d'hommes armés dans l'église, Jean, évêque d’Orléans fit une nouvelle consécration de l’église Saint-Liphard en 1104. "le Duc Jean II d'Alençon, comme lieutenant général de l'armée du Roi, accompagné de la Pucelle, de messire Louis de Bourbon, comte de Vendôme, d'autres seigneurs, capitaines et gens en armes en grand nombre tant à pied qu'à cheval, partirent d'Orléans avec une importante quantité de vivres, de charroi et d'artillerie, le mercredi 15 du mois de juin, pour aller mettre le siège devant Beaugency, mais en voyant le pont de Meung-sur-Loire, combien les anglais l'avaient fortifiés et fortement défendu par des vaillant combattants, qui tentaient de bien le défendre. Malgré cette défense, le pont fut pris dans l'assaut, sans guère retarder l'armée."

スタッフの方は感じがよく親切でした。ホテルの裏側の出口がトラムの乗り場になってるので、とても便利でした。 ただ、キッチンが水漏れをしており、伝えたのですが何の対処もありませんでした。確認にも来てなかったようです。仕方なく、お鍋で水を受けてしのぎました。

Very nice little hotel in a remodeled old house. It was a little hard finding it ( end of a one way street with a very small sign on the front door).
