「Great place! Easy entry on the ground level. Couldn't be any closer to the shops and local hangouts. Very comfortable and relaxing. 」

「This place is in town and close to shops and restaurants. The train tracks across the street are busy with freight trains, so that can get loud. Inside is clean. The kitchenette is small but has everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There is a large table and chairs in the main room with 2 beds. I found the main room to be a little dark, even with all the lights on. Overall, an excellent place to stay and the owners were communicative and responded promptly to messages.」

「This historic location was an amazing home base for our girl’s trip to NE Iowa. It’s clean and such a unique place to stay. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of room for the four of us. Our favorite part was people watching from the sun room area, although margaritas on the back patio were a close second. :)」

「Good location, a bit noisier than I expected due to trains during the night and some construction. Close to Yellow River Forest, Effigy Mounds and Pikes Peak State Park. Comfortable furniture and bed. Kitchen area includes microwave and small fridge, no sink. Looked like a nice fireplace which I did not use. Shopping, but few restaurants of note on main street; a couple of bars and one gourmet store. Kwik Star right across the street which was convenient. Host was friendly and accessible.」
