"I had an amazing stay at the Fairmont Empress. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the service was excellent throughout. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Victoria and close to everything. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it."

"The ‘included’ continental breakfast buffet had sufficient food & beverage choices to suit a range of patrons, and was refilled as needed. The staff is consistently positive and helpful. We appreciated their care for the environment by using compostable dishes, cups, cutlery and encouraging their reuse as well as reuse of towels, etc. We LOVE that e-bikes, helmets and kayaks are available for use by patrons. The ‘Great Room’ also includes a pool table, a piano, books and puzzles. The room rate is very reasonable, given all that is included. Parking is ample and an entrance to the beautiful Galloping Goose Trail is close by for walking or cycling. The Great Room has recently been updated as have the washrooms in the guest rooms. We have stayed there a few times and keep coming back."
