「I was a single traveller, made to feel very welcome. Breakfast was excellent. Room was small but adequate for a single person. En-suite was spacious. Mattress was a little firm for my liking. Fantastic location. All in all an excellent stay.」

「We had a standard room which was suitably spacious for a comfortable stay. The check in process was simple and straight forward. Guest who book on Expedia (or other we sites) are required to pay £15 for spa access, whereas direct book guest pay £10 for the same service. The spa is nice, but it’s a bit small. Two single beds but not a lot of room to manoeuvre around banged legs on it. kitchen at breakfast - there was no butter 2nd morning and lack of mugs. There were coffee perculators but no coffee to brew only small instant for cups. 「Lovely old pub in beautiful location, excellent breakfast, with home made preserves. The dinner menu looked very exciting but sadly we were dining elsewhere. Staff most helpful, carrying luggage and providing information. There is an onsite brewery! The night was extremely hot, so difficult to sleep, but very comfortable bed and well equipped room. The bathroom could have done with refurbishment to the tiling and taps, but was acceptable. There is a large parking area, by the river garden.」

「The Malvern is a hotel run around a health club and spa. The best feature is its restaurant which is modern and serves good food. The spa itself has a nice and warm indoor / outdoor pool but the facilities are dated and tired. The rooms are very tired, think 1970’s travelodge, and in desperate need of an upgrade. 「We stayed here one night whilst on our hiking trip. The location of the property is literally on the trail, so it allows you to split the hike trail intro two days. However, there are no shops nearby, only a petrol station which closes at 8PM. We booked a cosy room. The room itself was fine, clean, however we did notice quite a few spiders about in the room and bathroom. The restaurant is where this property shines: the food was excellent, and it gets quite busy. We barely managed to get a table...
