「Hospitality was the most important」

「Good breakfast!」

「Great location near the Petit Socco. Staff were professional. Breakfast was buffet style, unlike other riads I stayed at. Noise carries easily through the central atrium, so I could hear conversations and even snoring from other rooms, which was a bit of a downside. Still, the medina itself was very quiet at night, and I slept well. If you’re arriving with a suitcase from the pier or beach, take the sloped path—Google Maps may direct you to stairs, which is difficult.」

「Stayed at the Riad Jul 26-27, for a mother-daughter weekend. Beautiful Riad, the ladies employed were so busy cleaning, everything was spotless. Reception staff, although very polite and helpful upon arrival, was banging on our door to take my daughter out, all this happening at midnight. Not impressed. Will not stay here again」

「Absolutely horrible! This is the worst room we have booked in the last 20 years. I have traveled to more than 70 countries around the world and this is by far one of the worst rooms I have ever stayed in! BEWARE! The location is terrible - in the middle of a dead area in Tangier and you have to go up either a tons of steps or down a tons of steps. You cannot get a taxi to your room, you will need to climb up or down many stairs. We waited outside of the place for 45 minutes for someone to show...

「The location had a great view of the coast, and the hotel had English speaking staff, which gave me a great impression. I stopped by for one night on business, so I would like to stay for more than one night next time. The view from the top floor restaurant was also amazing.」

「This is the first time that I’ve walked out of a hotel and refused to stay for even one night. The place was impossible to reach: you have to climb up a lot of steep steps and directions were nonexistent. Men were harassing me while I lugged my suitcase up and down alleys. The reception was unreachable for over an hour while we repeatedly called and texted for directions. When we got there, the reception only spoke Arabic. The rooms were nothing like in the photos. Everything was dark, dirty,...

「This hotel is everything you can imagine. It’s beautiful, well maintained & in the perfect location. However, the staff is the best part of the property. I felt welcomed & well taken care of the minute I walked in the doors. I would come back to tangier just to stay in this hotel again.」
