The garden setting gives some tranquillity amid the very busy Kathmandu streets, and the craftsmanship and historic feel to the hotel are highlights. "My week stay at this hotel was pleasant. The location is excellent, in the heart of Thamel. The suite I stayed in was comfortable. I have only two small criticisms: The hot water had a very strong and unpleasant smell. Loud music from the next bar into the morning hours."
