"This was a fantastic spot to hide away from the tourist bustle right downtown - we were a 15 minute walk to a lot of the busy areas but enjoyed privacy and walking around the beautiful gardens. The pool looked clean, and the bar was actually quite good after a long day of traveling! The only issue is that the location advertised air conditioning, but it was not enabled in our room. Not the biggest deal because it’s spring, but any hotter and this would be a deal breaker. Room was fully redone recently, so everything felt so clean!"

"Rovatiana was fantastic. She has a great personality for this job. Was very kind. Answered all of our questions and was an excellent concierge. We had planned to drive through Positano and Amalfi the next day. She highly recommended a day boat tour. Fantastic suggestion! Driving is really something there. If you don’t have to, don’t. We were picked up at the hotel and dropped off at the same spot. The restaurant food was very good. We had everything from a burger, to a whole sea bass. Chefs are wanting to satisfy the costumers. Note - while we were waiting for our ride which was outside of the restaurant area on the street, my husband inadvertently dropped his wallet. We had at least 15 minutes so decided to wait in the sunshine up a few stairs. Within a couple minutes, he realized his wallet wasn’t on him. He went back down to the bench we were waiting on and his wallet wasn’t behind the patio cushion against the wall. He picked it up and we were off on our day trip. When we arrived at the harbour to check in, we had to pay the tourist fee in cash. My husband takes out his wallet and all of the cash was gone. We were stunned. It had only been a couple of minutes between us sitting on the bench and going to wait a few feet away in the sun and we saw no one around. Rovatiana is looking into the cameras that are outside and they will view to see who it was. He had between 800 and 900 euro. Was our spending money for our trip. We in no way blame the hotel. "Everything was excellent—we were met outside just as we pulled in, white glove treatment from the moment we walked in; fine dining was excellent, the hotel was like a museum, so beautiful, surrounded by lemon trees. Shops, restaurants, cafes, just around the block and the lift to the ferry is a 5 minute walk. Continental breakfast was excellent and WiFi was decent. Staff beyond lovely. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else the next time we’re in Sorrento. "

"Nice people and very reasonable prices. Location not the best if you DON’T do your research ahead of time. -But if you can figure out how to purchase bus tickets in downtown Sorrento at a tobacco shop first, then it is only about 8 minutes from the city center. I was shocked to find out that taxi cabs cost anywhere from 40-70 euro for such a short distance. Do yourself a favor and take the EAV 008 bus towards the property (or back and forth for that matter) and contact the hotel, they have a free shuttle available that picks you up at the top of the hill at the bus stop (last pick up is 12 midnight)!! The other amenities could use some work.. maybe a microwave and snacks for travelers? The views of the marina bay were fantastic and the staff was amazing.
