「What a fun place to stay! From the moment we walked in greeted by Toad (and his owner), we felt very comfortable here. The little retro details all added up to a friendly 3 night stay. The co-owners and staff are just as friendly as Toad but they work a lot harder to make your stay enjoyable. Just remember, you are staying in an old school motel, not the Hyatt Regency. Be nice!」
「The property was in a great location. Seeing the lake every day was beautiful. Food in the restaurant was good with many choices. Being able to walk the dogs around the property and dining outside with them was nice. Evening music in the bar area was a bonus. The rooms weren’t fancy but were comfortable 」
「Room was clean enough. The whole place needs maintenance. Breakfast was great. Egg bakes and variety were great. Lock on door didn’t work very well. 」
「I highly recommend staying here. It is a country setting, with well maintained, peaceful grounds. The rooms are comfortable and it is a restful atmosphere. There is easy access to the highway that allows you to head north and see the entire coastline of Door County. We would come back! 」
