We stayed in the Loft Suite for a night and it was super cute and cozy! We spent our time reading outside in the sun and in comfy armchairs, relaxing in the room’s jacuzzi, and exploring the grounds. The grounds are beautiful - they are so well maintained and the trails are covered in moss. We also went to Cave Point park (about a 20-30 min drive away) - between that and the BnB, it was a great weekend. When we arrived, we filled out a card saying what time breakfast should be delivered. After a deep night’s sleep, we found a basket at our door with coffee, orange juice, quiche, peaches and cream, and some kind of pumpkin/chocolate chip muffin (we couldn’t figure out exactly what it was but it was yummy!). It was delicious.

Breakfast’s were wonderful. We had use of a charger for our Tesla free while we were there. Gardens beautiful. We weren’t in the room a lot but it was a great stay.

A wonderful stay!

My husband and I celebrated 25 years of marriage at the Chanticleer. It was so quiet, relaxing and a much needed time of reconnection for us. The breakfast was delicious, delivered to our door every morning at the requested time. We highly recommend and would love to come back again!

I highly recommend staying here. It is a country setting, with well maintained, peaceful grounds. The rooms are comfortable and it is a restful atmosphere. There is easy access to the highway that allows you to head north and see the entire coastline of Door County. We would come back!

Charming Door County Gem!

This property was an absolute gem! My wife and I got away for a quick anniversary trip and the whole experience couldn’t have been more perfect. From the charming room, to the friendly proprietors, right down to the delicious breakfast delivered to our door in the morning, our stay was perfect.

The property was so incredibly clean and everything in the room fit the Victorian theme! The grounds were beautiful and had mown pathways to walk! The flowers and landscaping were beautiful, too! The staff were friendly and accomodating! The breakfast was delicious!

This B&B was like staying in a botanical garden! There were 30 acres of beautiful landscape. A great pool to relax in after a day of sightseeing. Hosts were very friendly and accomodating. Rooms were enormous and comfortable. Highly recommend!!

Our stay in Chanticleer Guest House was amazing. It is everything you expect to spend a wonderful couple getaway. The decoration was outstanding, and the surroundings were simply gorgeous and calm. This experience was wonderful! Off the beaten path this place has acreage galore with great walking paths, beautiful landscaping, beautiful trees and a pool!!it is so quiet you can almost hear a pin drop. All you hear are the birds. The morning breakfast may have been my favorite of all. Each morning they deliver a basket full of the most delicious breakfast. I miss that the most. We ate it outside on our semi private deck- although it was private, no others while we were out there, just so good!!! Also loved the plate of cooking in the lobby when we were coming or going. If I had one semi complaint it would be the bed. Very squeaky. Easily fixable. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway, this is the place❤️
