Mardasson American War Memorial

Rough start , I was given a twin room when I arrive instead of double room . I was put to an extension building outside the hotel . Next day I spoke to the Asian lady ( general manager) the most unhelpful manager I’ve meet . Never listen to me and she needed a customer service training - smile atleast and listen . Nice hotel but manager is a let down .

The hotel itself is conveniently located but there are no views of the plaza. The rooftop bar offers spectacular views but doesn't have a large variety of cocktails and beverages. The room was spacious but the bed was not comfortable. Also, the shower is set up high, so be careful getting in and out. Also strange was that there is nowhere to hang towels of any kind. Best thing was we were able to catch the soccer game on the TV in the lounge but the bar was closed at the start of the game at 9pm. We still enjoyed our stay, however.
