The cabin runs on propane for heating and cooking, with a dependable generator to charge the battery bank that powers lights and internet.

Amazing vacation spot

This place is a hidden gem and the hosts are great. My husband and I had an excellent vacation hiking in the North Cascades with this beautiful cabin as home base.

Amazing cabin!

We had an amazing time at the cabin. Everything is set up so well and thoughtfully. It was an great place to spend a rainy, lazy weekend enjoying the river view and hot tub.

Cozy and Stunning

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Somnia Vera Riverside Cabin.Everything was as described and the cabin was so comfy and cozy. The river view was gorgeous and we saw bald eagles flying by everyday, as well as other wildlife; like Douglas Squirrels, a Goosander, and an American Dipper.Highly recommend and hopefully we'll be back for a summer stay

Great place for a getaway

We loved our stay. The property felt secluded, quiet and relaxing. The only downside was the shower… my 75 year old MIL could not get into it so she was unable to shower for 4 days. We hope to stay there again in the future.

We had an amazing stay! The cabin is absolutely perfect. It's hard to upscale a national park, but this cabin might do it. The owner is very responsive, and the location is perfect. The cabin is absolute peace.

Mother’s Day Getaway

What a lovely stay in the heart of the Cascades. From the sounds of the rushing Cascade River to the lovely cabin, wood burning hot tub and riverfront fire pit, it was a relaxing getaway. The cabin had everything we needed for a wonderful long weekend — a fun, eclectic collection of decor, a well equipped kitchen and a Japanese soaker tub.We were able to explore many trails and lakes of the North Cascade National Park. Great cabin

We loved our stay here. The cabin was very nice and the river was wonderful. We were able to watch some salmon in the river. Close to the North Cascade National Park. We would stay here again.

Perfect home base for Cascades NP

What an oasis. We had an amazing place to wind down after long hikes and paddling through the park. Place was very clean and comfortable and owner was very very responsive. I would recommend this beautiful place and will be back

Amazing House in Marblemount

This off the grid house was amazing. The river front, hot tub and location made this house a perfect fit for my wife and I. I have to say this was the best house on the block! What a treat to stay here.

Great weekend getaway

This cabin was a perfect place to unwind and escape from everyday life. We stayed in February, and the whole place was covered in snow. We barely saw anyone else our entire time.It's nestled in the woods next to a little river and was a perfect place for my wife and two of our friends to get away. It had plenty of creature comforts (we made ample use of the coffee station) and was very clean.I highly recommend this listing for anyone seeking a rejuvenating escape into nature.

Relaxation by the river

This home is so nice! Everything is done thoughtfully. We loved the hot tub and candles and listening to the river. Close to Northern Cascades NP and lots of great hikes. Hosts were great with communication & had everything we needed for a lovely vacation.

Such a beautiful cabin! I was a little hesitant about the off-grid/generator run amenities, but the hosts made everything very straightforward and they have thought of everything! And we never dropped below 90% energy use of the house. If you are looking for a cozy stay near the national park, this is the perfect cabin!!

A hidden gem.

The host has thought of every detail, to make this a great place to base camp while exploring the North Cascades or to simply relax and unwind from the hustle and bustle of life. Great spot for North Cascades! It's very relaxing and is awesome place to relax with a pretty stream behind the property. It's off the grid which wasn't that big of a issue but definitely different!

Perfect unplugged weekend

The property is stunning with unbeatable views! The kitchen had all necessary utensils for cooking and the manual provided for house instructions was very intuitive. I will mention the house is off the grid (WiFi available) so take that into consideration. The host was communicative and we would definitely stay again
