"Akitaya is always a great stay. I’ve stayed here both times I’ve been to Kamakura and I plan to stay here again when I return! The rooms are a traditional Japanese style which I think everyone should experience! The hotel is conveniently placed next to Koshigoe station which makes it really easy to get around. They even give you free tea in the room! The staff are always super friendly and even did my laundry for me. I definitely recommend this place!"

The owner was kind enough to let us leave our luggage at the house earlier than check in time so we can start exploring the area. "It was extremely well equipped! It was like staying in a whole house one of the best holiday rentals I have ever rented. I would give them more stars if I could. I would only recommend putting a railing on the stairs to upstairs bedrooms. Other than that excellent excellent excellent can't say enough about it fantastic rental. 👍👍👍💯"
