「Very charming cottage with great lake view. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen view was great and the cottage was tastefully decorated. It was nice that there was heating and air conditioning which was surprisingly quiet. The 2 bedroom unit we were in needs to be painted and well cleaned and the grounds need some work. I understand the new owner is working to improve the property. There was a new pontoon that we could rent for a day, which is a great feature of the property. Our host...

「room was what we needed for a night to run the marathon」

「Great location as a base to explore Scugog and the Kawarthas. Bring your appetite, the breakfasts are plentifull and delicious!」

「Beautiful property, and amazing host!」

「Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this host. We booked this property specifically because it advertised a dock, and before our stay we messaged the owner to confirm it would be installed for our jet ski. He confirmed it would be there, but when we arrived there was no dock. We were repeatedly told it would be installed during our stay, but it never was. The property also had multiple cleanliness, maintenance, and safety issues, including dirty bedding, damaged stairs, an unusable kayak, a filthy...

「We loved staying here, host was great, place was clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend.」

「Dire need of proper maintenance」

「Absolutely lovely people and fantastic space. Would definitely return and recommend!」

「I write in the hopes that this Host improves her communication, service & respect for her future Guests. Essential items like a lighter for the butane burner for coffee or fire pit, tea towels, paper towels & a camping toilet that doesn't leak. Her posted "emergency" contact Guy hadn't worked there for 5 yrs! Host never answered our phone calls even before & after, which led to total frustration & a spoiled Birthday getaway. The tree House & it's history may be advertized as "deluxe" but the...

「This property is definitely not disabled-friendly. There are many stairs and the only bathtub is very very high. The host answered everyone of my inquiries quickly.」

「My son and I spent two nights in the trailer. For a glamping experience, the trailer met our expectations. The trailer is in a nice spot, at the end of a road, with a fire pit and screened-in porch(which we took full advantage of). We were attending Mosport and did not have a chance to explore the property or use the amenities, and cannot comment. There were some issues communicating through VRBO, but the host was responsive and accommodating.」
