Transportation is a bit iffy, as buses are unreliable (or come by roughly every hour at best), but it is a quiet and safe residential area.

The apartment was spacious and just what we needed when our flight home was cancelled. Our host greeted us and provided all needed information.

The amenities were awesome truly felt like a little village and came to life throughout the day. I got handmade jewelry from a local vendor and enjoyed stays by the beach beds. We have been staying here for many years. Food very good especially at the Grille restaurant, but service is slow. Wonderful staff!

I would certainly recommend the Terraces at Mangrove to anyone visiting Barbados.
No bugs, we were surprised. We were able to drink the water. Felt safe. Temps were cooler than when we left Florida & always a nice breeze. I read about "Island Time", but everyone was early or on time.
