The cabin itself is well built and, although small, attractive (wood vaulted ceiling and walls). The furnishings were OK. The issue was FILTH. The place has not been remotely cleaned or maintained for a LONG time. This is no short-term issue (e.g. COVID). This is willful neglect by management. We dropped something small. Looking for it under the bed and bedside table was GROSS! KItchen lighting globes were gross. Fridge gasket is moldy. Entire floor was filthy. I wore socks inside the first day. Never again. Towels were small, cheap and thin. Took two calls and two days to address ants in kitchen and bathroom. Blinds at all windows are gross. One of the blinds has a missing slat. Outside trees are growing in gutters, railroad ties used in landscaping are rotted. Fence rails broken. Absolutely no consideration of COVID cleaning and a day between renters. We saw "cleaning people" go into nearby cabins, change linens (they carried in) and back out in a few minutes. New renters hours later. IF you choose to stay there, you will need to bring dish soap, hand/shower soap, TP, PT, Kleenex - even hangers. The sad thing is that the place itself would be fine if management/owners took care of the property. The cabin itself is well built. The pond and ducks are enjoyable.
