"The staff was excellent! So friendly and courteous.
It was all just wonderful except the carpet in the room was really dirty. It had been vacuumed and the room was VERY clean. But our socks were black from walking on the carpet. Probably time to replace with hard flooring that can be mopped. "
"The house had more amenities then most VRBO's we have stayed out. The location was great, the property was clean, the beds were comfortable. The parking was excellent for what we needed, and we enjoyed the hot tub one evening. A couple of minor things need some attention(ie lgiht bulbs, wheels on the dishwasher rack) but nothing that would prevent us from staying there again. This property would be nice for a small family retreat."
"We had a wonderful time exploring the property and hearing the history. The staff went above an beyond before even asking. The food was excellent. The spa was relaxing. The best part was that we had something to do at the hotel at all times. While waiting for our next adventure, we were not just stuck waiting in our room. we visited with other guests, played games and relaxed in the many comfort areas in and around the hotel. "Having stayed in the Basin Park on other occasions, we thought we knew what to expect. The day before our scheduled stay, the hotel offered us a free upgrade. We were upgraded to a balcony suite! Very nice and large room in a private part of the hotel. The balcony overlooking the park was private and large enough for a table and 4 chairs. The room had a jetted tub and a sitting area. "
"I stayed here for a best friend girls getaway September 12-14th. The room was wonderful, clean, quiet and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. One spot is allowed per room and the only difficulty we had was finding close parking to leave our other car - this was expected as parking in Eureka is just hard all over town. I would highly recommend this cute and cozy spot and will definitely be back."
