Reasonably priced, well serviced, close to where I wanted to be. Breakfast was basic but OK. I didn't take advantage of some of the facilities (e.g. rooftop swimming pool) but it was nice to know they were available. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic cost-benefit for Madrid. Pros: Location, cleanliness, politeness and professionalism by the staff, vibrant atmosphere, powerful air conditioning even with 39°C outside, room service, very good priced meals. Could be better: the cooktop becomes useless as there are no pans or cookers; studio is a little smaller and less comfortable, when we compare to similar ones from other cities. But considering the general high prices from Madrid, it is an excellent deal.

More than satisfactory

Located near a supermarket and restaurants, so I never worry about food. Vending machines are also available. It’s a short distance to Mercado de la Paz, Corte Íngles and biblioteca. One reminder is there’s no cleaning service at the weekend.

A valuable and interesting concept

This is a student residence that offers short-term accommodation as well. As such, the apartments are spacious and have some amenities that even better hotels often do not have in the rooms, such as cutlery. My room did not have a 'do not disturb' sign for the door, and the cleaning service wanted to enter the room at unusual times quite often as a result. The wi-fi was fast and reliable, though one has to insert a whole host of personal data upon the first login to the system, which may have to do with this being accustomed to students residing there for several months and is less suited for short-term guests. Breakfast was offered extra, which was a generous gesture. Overall, even though there are some aspects that could be improved, this is a very promising accommodation format with a good location in Madrid that is also affordable and accessible.

Pleasant and convenient

I had a great stay at Residencia Universitaria Resa Claudio Coello. -Location is excellent—situated in a quiet and safe neighbourhood, yet just a short 5-block walk to Nuñez de Balboa metro station, which made getting around the city super convenient. There are also plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby, offering lots of options for dining out. -The residence itself is clean, modern, and well-maintained. My room was comfortable and provided everything I needed for a 3-day stay. -The included breakfast was a pleasant bonus—fresh and varied, with both hot and cold options to start the day right.

This place was great. Great value for solo travel. On the one night I stayed there was unfortunately a drunk man yelling in the hallway, but my best guess is that is a rare occurence. Otherwise, the food was good and the room had all of the basic necessities. Very convenient for a quick stopover on the way to another city. Kudos to all of the young people staying there who were very respectful and quiet even on the rooftop in the evening.

Great stay; would return.

Had a great weekend stay here w/ my gf. It's a dormitory so the vibe was cool. The room is a set-up for a student so only one bed side table - not a huge deal but nice for both people to have a place for their morning coffee. Also, the wi-fi was tricky - we were only able to connect for one day. The service was provided by the security guards - very sweet but not informed of all the amenities eg pool hours, etc. and no dish soap provided so we used the shampoo in the room to wash cups/mugs. Overall, a great stay and would return. And location was nice - tree-lined, near the bus/metro and super convenient to get to the airport.

Residencia ruidosa donde resulta imposible dormir

Lo peor, el tipo de público que se aloja en la Residencia, gente joven que no les preocupa hacer ruido a altas horas de la noche... Durante vigilias de festivos, imposible dormir, pues ese "público" irrespetuoso regresa de sus juergas a las 4 y 5 de la madrugada, hablando y gritando por zonas comunes y pasillos como si fueran las 12 del mediodía.
