위치가 좋은곳!

위치는 정말 짱이였어요. 다 만, 공사중이여서 뷰가 생각보다 정말 볋로였고, 삐규뎍거리는 침대도 뷸펺했어요. 스페일 여행 동안 제일 기대한 호텔이였는데 제일 실뫙슈러웠어요. 다시는 않갏것가타요.

My second stay in 2 years, and Praktik Metropol continues to be a good choice given the price and location. Being on Gran Via makes it really easy to find shops and restaurants nearby, as well as being easy accessible via public transport. Most tourist sites are within walking distance as well. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful, and are available 24 hours a day. Only minor quibbles are that there are no coffee/tea facilities in-room, nor is here a minibar fridge.

O ponto alto do hotel é a decoração e a localização que é excelente. Ponto ruim foi que por ainda não ser verão não estava funcionando o sistema de ar condicionado. Acontece que estava fazendo por volta de 23 graus na cidade e o quarto era extremamente quente. Em função do calor tínhamos que abrir a janela que dá ao lado de um Mac donalds. Enfim sentíamos muito calor ou muito cheiro de fritura.

Overpriced for an I terior room with view of walls and pipes. Phone did not work. No explanation and not even a welcome sheet of paper explaining how the phone works ie what number to dial for front desk or to dial out. Small room with old worn dirty unappealing furniture.

Great location.

This hotel has a great location in Central Madrid, great rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and good value for money. What you want to see in Central Madrid is within walking distance. The roof balcony offers a good view of the city.

Not a good stay

Okay so... I usually dont write bad reviews or have bad experiences with hotels, however I overall did not have a good stay at this hotel. I can imagine if you come as a tourist with no plan to stay in the hotel and only drop your bags it is okay - the good thing with the hotel is the location. Perfect location in the middle of the touristy areas. To the bad stuff... First of all heads up this hotel doesnt have its own entrance - they have 3 floors in a building with hostels based on top of it. Therefore it was kind of difficult to find it and a hassle if you have lots of bags. I first received a room that was disgustingly dirty in the bathroom (I doubt it was cleaned) and when I told the girl in reception she was very unfriendly. She acted like she didnt believe me, offered no apology or any help with my bags that I could barely carry having to make my way back to reception and open doors etc. She just walked me to the room to check on my complaint before agreeing to move me to a different room. Once I did receive the new room the key card didnt work and I had to go back for a second time carrying all my bags. Still no help offered when she came with me to check the key card the second time. You can hear everything from other rooms. Also very uncomfortable beds with no proper bed cover - I was freezing and slept terrible even though I turned on the heat. Obviously this isnt a good review so I would not recommend this hotel or stay there again...
