It’s susper close to all the shops in mackinaw city and close to the docks for the ferry’s if you go to the island.

The rooms were very dirty, uncleaned, dusty, and old. They had a moldy smell to them. The shower heads were very low and had black stuff all around them. I’m going home tonight and feel like I have to shower with bleach. Felt like a 1 star motel. Way too over priced. Never again

My room was not what I expected, It was small, outdated and dirty. Compared to the rooms I saw while doors were open, I was given the smallest room there. For $500 for 2 days it was definitely not worth it. The stairs and balcony has moss growing all over it and it didn't seem the property was kept up

It looks like a great on the outside of our cabin, we had the premium cabin. However once We went inside ,we found , screens were broken or had holes, there was dead bugs and dirt filling the window sills. We opened up the pull out couch and there was crumbs everywhere and also the tv remote and some kids hot wheels car inside. The floors will leave your socks or feet black and the rug is dirty. On the room description it says “hydromassage “ shower head ,it was just a normal basic shower head with low water pressure . There was 2 lightbulbs burnt out , multiple outlets not working and the cords from the TVs and modem just hanging out exposed like a mess. One of the drawers had a previous occupants trash. Lastly in the room one of the the pillow cases I had , had a weird gross stain on it and the sheets just didn’t smell clean . Now outside the outdoor hot tub was filled with sand and the pools had tons of chlorine in them. On the plus side the people working at the front desk were friendly and helpful with what we needed. Most of these problems could be fixed with better cleaning and replacing old rugs and stained sheets/ pillow cases.

This was a complete waste of money. The cabin was dirty, wet, and musty smelling. There's no space between cabins and things are in disrepair or non-functional. Staff was very unhelpful with questions regarding parking while we visited the island, so we just opted to park off site to play it safe. The "waterpark" is a very poorly kept up hotel pool area with a small water feature for children. It was dirty and cold. We felt completely scammed!

I’m so glad I stayed here and didn’t go off of some of the reviews. This was so close to the ferry’s and downtown Mackinaw. The room was clean and so cozy- loved the cottage core aesthetics.

Our room was one of the dirtiest rooms we’ve ever stayed in and we’ve stayed in many. No porch light. One roll of toilet paper for 6 people. Dirty wadded sheet left in the pull out bed. We won’t be staying here again.

I was not impressed with this property by any means. It looks like it hasn't been worked on in years. There was mold around the caulking in the shower. The bathroom fan did not work therefore causing the bathroom mirror to become extremely fogged up. The wi-fi at its best was 6 Mbps. Highly unacceptable when facility is using Spectrum internet as thier provider. If you don't care about Wi-Fi and you don't care about cleanliness then this is your place.

We liked the little cabins. It was cute. We were 1st put in the motel part on the 2nd floor but were able to relocate to a cabin. The 2nd bedroom was pretty cramped but it was great for our luggage. The lady at the front desk was very helpful & nice.

The pictures of the room we were getting were mosleading as it puctured an actual cabin but we got an apartment type cabin room instead. The room was nice, clean, and in a convenient location easily accesable to the ferry and restaurants and shops. The bed was fairly comfortable as well, which was a nice suprise.

The beds in the bedrooms were fine; although the light in one bedroom didn’t work and was almost hanging from the wall. The smoke detector in the other bedroom was disconnected. The pullout couch, where I slept, was very dirty, and the springs made it extremely hard to get comfortable. I cleaned the air conditioning unit- the whole place was dusty, cobwebby, and did not seem vacuumed. The floors in the bathroom were sticky. The dirt and cobwebs on the outside of the cabin were fine- I tent-camp and am not a complainer but, the dirt and cobwebs inside were not acceptable. We used the cabin only to sleep, so we worked around the inconveniences.

False advertising. The picture shows only the cabins. Behind the small row of cabins is a very old and unkept motel. That's where we were placed. Not updated. Old, old bathroom with old blue porcelain tub and low toilet. Tub didn't drain well. Shower curtain hanging in water. Black mold on shower head. Lightbulb by bed had no cover and bulb was out. AC unit acceptable but blew directly on your head at night. Carpet held smells. Outside mold on carpet. Windows sticking. No cross ventilation. Do yourself a favor and skip this facility!! Staff barely bothered to say hello and could care less. Nightmare. The only good thing was location near ferry service and downtown Mackinaw City. There are a hundred other places in area for comparable prices. Don't go here beware!!!!!
