"Had a great weeklong stay at this house. House was clean and well stocked with advertised amenities. The location is great. Everything seems to be a 1-2 minute walk away. Shim-Mikawashima station (Kesei Line) was super convenient and only a minute away. 3 konbinis, a launderette, a great bakery (Bakeries Lab), confectionery shop and restaurants all within a 2 minute walk. The house is located in a very quiet Arakawa neighborhood that was nice to retreat to after loud, busy days in the city....

"I love the Japanese-style home, it gave us the unique experience of living in a traditional Japanese house, even if just temporarily. It was also conveniently located and easy to find. I would highly recommend."

"Thom and his wife were always available and both spoke good English. Rooms are clean, tidy but small (some people leave their bags outside the room). Beds are comfortable and warm. Bathroom and shower facilities are excellent.The hostel is very close to Nippori-Toneri Liner (station NT03) which gives very quick access to the JR Yamanote Line in Tokyo, so getting to and from central Tokyo is a quick commute.Best of all the hostel is inexpensive, so if you are a backpacker on a budget (or even a...
