"There is no refrigerator in the room, which would be a convenient addition. The all-inclusive resort offers a good variety of food with plenty of options for different tastes. Most staff do not speak English fluently, but they are friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The evening entertainment could be improved. Most shows were geared toward children, with very limited entertainment specifically for adults. Adding more adult-oriented shows and activities would make the experience more enjoyable. Suggestion for the Resort Manager: It would be a nice touch to offer a welcome drink or bottle of water upon check-in. When we arrived, there was nothing provided. I asked the front desk for water and was directed to a dispenser that unfortunately had no paper cups. As a result, I remained thirsty until reaching our room, where there was also no water or welcome refreshment. These small improvements could make a significant difference in the overall guest experience."

"This hotel is very beautiful, but something to keep in mind. The food and beverages from the restaurant are very over priced. Just as an example a glass of Prosecco was roughly 22-25$ (USD) which is enough to just go out in town and buy your own bottle. Also, the breakfast for just my wife and I (buffet breakfast) cost us roughly $70 USD. The breakfast selection was basic and not impressive at all. We basically wondered what we paid 70 dollars for when we saw our choices. The property is beautiful and the service was amazing! Please keep in mind it is in the jungle so you will hear jungle noises at night. Which is to be expected and honestly I thought it was pretty neat."

"La Terraza was an absolute delight. The staff and owners couldn’t have been more friendly, more helpful, more accommodating. We stayed in the El Rio apartment. A bit more expensive than a regular room but, OMG, so worth it!! Its large, has a beautiful view from the terrace, full kitchen, beautifully decorated. The owners, Charles and Peter, were an absolute delight. We talked through the entire breakfast and Charles even joined us one day for breakfast. The staff was also delightful. Mauricio was so friendly and so kind. He visited us one evening, with his wife, and we just chatted for about 2 hours. We saw him every day. All personnel were totally available at all times. The breakfasts were amazing. They were different each day and, wow, so delicious. Parking is free and was right in front of the apartment. I can usually find at least one negative in every place we stay but, alas (LOL), I can’t find a thing here. It was perfect. Definitely returning here on our next visit. You should too!!!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our few days at La Vida Mountain Resort and Spa. We particularly enjoyed the evenings watching spectacular thunderstorms flashing in distant skies over other valleys while there was not a drop of rain where we were. The food was consistently very good and the staff always friendly and helpful. We would definitely return."
