「Your staff are great my wife has issues and a care dog when we arrived I thought we where going home because my wife was having problems after a 6 hour drive but your man behind the reception was great we had lunch and stayed and even booked an extra night All staff from reception too bar staff and cleaning brilliant Thankyou for a great stay we will be back for more stays to see the upgrades to the Hotel XX 」

「The Royal Oak has a wonderful location in a quiet village setting and visitors can expect a relaxing change of pace. The countryside around is spectacular for England and the people are without exception friendly and helpful. I'm perhaps biased because my family lived in Gt Ayton in the early 19th Century and although I was born in North Yorkshire today, as a visiting southerner it's very much my home ground.
