The man that owns the place was born and raised in an animal loving family and his respect and love for the animals show through his interactions and knowledge. You can schedule a behind the scenes tour of the zoo if you call ahead. During this tour I was able to pet a porcupine, feeds goats, feed bananas to a lemur, and feed the tiger pictured. Very close to Luray Caverns and Cooters Dukes of Hazard Museaum. Quick trip to Monticello and stopped on way north at New River Gorge Bridge walk and stopped at Waltons Museum in Schuyler on the way home. Really enjoyed the stay. Everything you need for a relaxing weekend. Stop by Flotzies for some great ice cream.

Right off 211 at entrance to Luray Caverns. Convenient to Food Lion and Walmart. Rural setting but subdivision of new townhomes across the road. Not far to the Thornton Gap entrance to the Shanendoah National Park and the Skyline Drive.

This barn is adorable! Everything you need for a stay in Luray! Stores, wonderful ice cream & hiking all super close by! Leave time for Luray caverns which are just down the road! We enjoyed grilling on the patio just outside & we’re visited by a family of deer each night! Super stay!

Comfortable and cozy accommodations in a terrific location! This adorable barn had everything we needed after spending our days exploring Luray Caverns, and hiking in beautiful Shenandoah National Park. We particularly appreciated having use of the washer and dryer and the grill. In addition, there are great food options nearby, and plenty to do. Clark and Gloria were terrific hosts...easy to reach and always helpful. We highly recommend this property for people who want to enjoy the natural beauty and history of this area.

Very convenient location near Luray Caverns and attractions and downtown Luray. Private, clean, roomy, comfortably furnished, nicely decorated, well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, Farmhouse sink, well organized dishes, glasses, mugs. Dishwasher and coffee maker with Keurig coffee maker along with coffee filters and coffee pods were welcome additions. Soft soup, shampoo and conditioner, laundry detergent, fabric softener sheets, dish liquid, trash bags, nice towels and extra pillows were also provided. We enjoyed using the gas grill on the patio. Nice large yard area. Wood use fire pit and cornhole game were also available but we did not have time to use. Very comfortable air conditioning systems in living area in bedroom along with ceiling fan in living room kept us nice and cool on very hot days. The bed was a delight! We loved the mattress, bedding, and fluffy pillows. We are very happy we chose the Tiny Barn for our lodging while visiting the Shenandoah National Park, Luray Caverns and surrounding area.

Romantic Weekend Away

I was planning a proposal weekend and needed the place to stay. I was excited when I found this place and it was so perfectly located to everything in Luray that I had planned. A small drive to the caverns, within minutes to stores and restraunts, and not far from scenic overlooks to enjoy a sunset.

Just right!

My sister and I wanted to meet up halfway between where we both lived for a few days of sister time and exploring. We found the little red barn and it was just right. We got up early the first morning to go up on Skyline Drive and watch the sunrise at Buck Hollow overlook and what a site. Went to Lauray caverns that day then hiked one of the many trails off skyline and also just drove for miles enjoying the beautiful views. Saturday we drove to Monticello to tour Thomas Jefferson’s home. Very informative. And went to a great winery for wine and dinner. Mount Ida reserve. Had a good dinner in town Lauray one night at the speakeasy. I have to mention a great spot called the Blue Ridge pottery in Stanardsville Virginia. That had amazing homemade pottery for great prices. Thank you for such a nice place for my sister and I to spend some time together. Hope to be back.

Adorable

The tiny barn is charming and intimate. It has a well-appointed kitchen, a cozy gas fireplace, a comfy bed and a cute, cute bathroom. We had a tiny glitch getting into the place, but our hosts immediately took care of it. They were very responsive. The place is also well located... just around a corner and up a hill from the entrance to the Luray Caverns. My husband and I will definitely be back.

Awesome Little Getaway

My husband and I absolutely loved this little place 😊 It is super close to just about anything you need, and plenty of activities in the area with beautiful views. The barn is super cute, clean and comfortable. The fact that we could bring our American Bully with us was a huge bonus. It was his first trip, and he definitely had as much fun as we did 💜 The property owners are also extremely nice and responsive to messages. We would absolutely stay here again.
