"Very lovely hotel. Love the no tipping policy. Staff are good and friendly. I think the policy that requires you pay half the cost of the room in order to stay two hours longer is ridiculous and the desk staff should be able to grant more time depending on the situation. The cost of the rooms and the amenities don’t really match. There should be package deals for parents of students that decrease the costs. Room service is kind of a joke, it’s just to-go brought to your room. No plates, silverware provided. Not worth the added charge. "

"Close to UCLA. Free parking! Clean, updated rooms. Complimentary coffee, yogurt, cereal and bagels for breakfast. Room with double/queen beds were larger than most small hotel rooms. Great to have a small kitchenette with a sink, microwave & small fridge. Lots of lighting - lamps and ceiling lights. And, lots of mirrors, which really helps when 4 people are getting ready. 1 block from Trader Joe's, Target and Ralph's grocery store."

"Everything was before clean upgrades comfortable"

"Everything was great. The only problem is the room is not very soundproof. Got woken up by the noise of walking and talking. But everything else was great."

"Room is nicely appointed Staff are 50/50 Great and awful Really an amazingly well appointed motel Spa was a joke and the spa staff are an embarrassment to the spa industry. They couldn’t stop chewing gum long enough to say they had no services."

"The hotel looks and feels like a mall from the 1990s that's been deserted by its customers. The lobby is empty, they hardly have anywhere to sit, no warmth, no buzz from people congregating to have a drink or a coffee. It's not welcoming in the least. Honestly, there's no reason to stay at this hotel with so many better ones at the same (or lower) price nearby."

"The staff was super nice. Theh moved my room after first placing me faint Santa Monica blvd as it was super loud. When I got to my new room I did find two hairs on the bedding. I was too tired to complain and move again. Also both rooms had a very funky bleach smell. Now my clothes that k wore to bed smell like that which is concerning. Not sure what the smell is but it is significant. The room was nice, updated. Great for a quick stay but the smell and hairs are not ok. "
